Have you ever wondered how the Camel got his hump? Or how the Elephant got his trunk?

‘Just Soph’ is a high quality piece of theatrical storytelling created for children aged 3-7 and their families, adapted from Rudyard Kipling’s ‘The Just So Stories’. With original live music, puppetry and physical theatre, join our storyteller Soph alongside a host of curious characters on a very special journey.

With minimal set up time and no technical requirements, ‘Just Soph’ is suitable for almost any spaces or venue. It’s available for school, theatre, festival and library bookings. Get in touch for further information about venue requirements and pricing.

This show was developed in 2016 alongside Manchester Libraries, New Vic Education and Theatre in the Quarter. It is created especially for library and school performances. It is developed for children aged 3-8 and wider family audiences, making it suitable for public and educational performances. The show meets key literacy aims for EYFS and Key Stage 1.

This entertaining, beautiful and engaging production can engage young audiences of all abilities and inspire creativity and reading at home, in the library or at school.

This show comes with the option of a Key Stage 1 storytelling workshop or an adult creative storytelling workshop for teachers and parents.
