Hello, I'm Sophia Hatfield (aka Stute Theatre). I'm an actor, musician, storyteller and theatre maker. I love devising and performing original theatre and creating work for children, families and young people.

I have 10 years experience as a professional actor, including work with The New Vic, Northern Broadsides, Oldham Theatre Workshop, Bolton Octagon, Birmingham Rep, Fuse and Theatre in the Quarter. If you'd like to find out more about my work as a performer, you can take a look at Spotlight Acting CV by clicking the link in the menu.

I set up Stute Theatre in 2016, when I achieved GFA funding to produce, write and perform ‘Just Soph’ - an interactive storytelling show for young children and families. My latest work ‘Common Lore’, a live experience for young adults in libraries, will tour to UK libraries and venues in 2018.

I also have a background in community engagement and have experience gathering people's views, running large scale community events and managing projects and budgets.

Whether you're looking for an actor-musician, a skilled theatre facilitator, a family storyteller, or to create a new piece of exciting theatre, please get in touch. I'd love to hear from you.
